this is gemma, from one of my favorite webcomics at the moment, supermutant magic academy. you guys should go check it out for her (jillian tamaki) style and story, as both are very well designed and laid out. reminds me of ‘peanuts’ and ‘calvin and hobbes’, as a matter of fact. i was gonna do a bigger piece, but then when i drew this out i liked it too much to not use. i also did a split between cleaning up the lines and using the ink as a texture. i think it turned out pretty well.
